I am most influenced by individuals that demonstrate inspirational thought leadership, kindness, compassion, advocacy for humanitarian causes & stories of positive personal growth or endurance. Some of these individuals include:
📝What is one piece of advice you find yourself constantly sharing with your clients?
Always practice what you are going to say before you give an important presentation – dry run with colleagues, your coach, family or in front of the mirror.
Just make sure you say it out loud and practice, practice, practice!
🙋♂️How do you add value to your clients?
I listen attentively to understand exactly what my clients want and need which allows me to meet them where they are and ensure their success.
👀 What do you think makes Stratford unique?
We have experts with various backgrounds which means we can represent the different components that makes any business successful – Operations, IT, HR, L&D, Sales, Marketing, IP.
🤝 What is your favourite type of client engagement?
Any engagement that allows me to work one-on-one with a client(s) and I feel like I’ve contributed to their individual success and the success of their business.
✨ Do you sit on any boards or volunteer?
I volunteer as a life-path coach with Discover Year – a gap year program for young adults as they transition to the next chapter of their lives post-secondary.
🎸 What are some of your favourite past times?
EATING! I love food so cooking for family and friends, trying new recipes when I have time, but eating is my specialty. I once had a goal of eating at as many of the world’s top restaurants. Now my focus has changed to supporting our local culinary artists and chefs, by eating at our local Ottawa restaurants since they are so great.
Traveling is also one of my favourite things to do and I have been very lucky to have traveled to many exciting, interesting and different places around the globe. Next I want to explore more of Canada.

⛰️ What’s one of the biggest obstacles you’ve had to overcome as it relates to your career?
Working in a culture that did not align to my values. I worked for a company who was financially focused and results oriented. I found it operated in an exclusive way with regards to its decision making and culture, making it a challenge to gain access to the executive decision makers or influence new and different ideas.
My values are centred on strong accountability, openness, transparency, inclusiveness and humour which made me realize the importance of cultural or value-alignment for my own engagement.
